The Helen Bolton Cribbage Tournament 2024 was held on Sunday 18 February with 14 teams participating.
It’s interesting to see how the tournament is growing in popularity:
- We had David and Paula Gee from Hitchin enter. This was one of David’s Christmas presents to Paula, and they stayed at The Roseate in Reading.
- Two University of Reading students, Toma and Sebbie entered. It was their first cribbage contest I’m sure not their last.
- Trevor Bates joined us from West Reading. It was his first trip to The Retreat.
- Tilly Harrington and Jo Dormer didn’t win! They were the winners in the last three contests.
- We raised £210.00 for the Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent Hospice.
